Karen Elizabeth Yatsko, master ncs & parent educator

Karen has been a Professional Nanny for 35 years; she has had the pleasure of holding two long term jobs, with one family for 9 years and another for family 8 years. Karen has followed her passion and is now working with babies and parents full time as a Newborn Care Specialist. Karen takes a team approach when working with families to educate, empower, and support them in becoming confident parents. She loves keeping in touch with families as their babies grow over the years.

Karen is a member of the International Nanny Association (25+ years), and served on its Board of Directors for 6 years in various capacities including Publications, INA Nanny Credential Exam Committee, Newborn Care Specialist Committee and Ethic Committee. She was a nominee for the prestigious INA Nanny of the Year Award in 1994 and is an INA Credentialed Nanny. Karen received the INA Meritorious Service Award in 2018 for her dedication and volunteering with the organization. She is a supporter, attendee, and has been a speaker at Nannypalooza and National Nanny Training Day events, and attended the first UK Nannypalooza in London in 2017. Karen mentors nannies and NCS as they navigate through their personal and professional careers. 

Karen makes her home is Western MA with her partner Tom.
